Haga used to be a working class district in Gothenburg, in Sweden. When I knew it, back in the 70's, it had a bohemian feel to it. A lot of nice people were living there.

Since then, many of the old buildings have been torn down, and the whole area now has a trendy up-market feel. It's the sort of place that you'd expect to find an art gallery, or two. But, this gallery is not in Haga. It exists only in cyberspace. The paintings are real though, and three of them are set in Haga. They are entitled "Rainstorm in Haga". You'll find them in the Rainstorm Room.

I'm not a professional painter, but I take it fairly seriously. I'm happy when I get a picture right, and am bad-tempered when it goes wrong. When people ask what I paint, I'm hard-pressed to explain. Like most amateur painters, I paint what I want to paint. This gallery contains some of the paintings and drawings that I've done. It helps me to answer the question.

If you use the link above to the main gallery, you'll find yourself in 'walk-around' mode. You can use the arrows to walk around the gallery. There are no titles or descriptions. If you want to look closer at a picture, and read a bit about it, then click on it. At any point you can return here by clicking on GALLERY ENTRANCE, or go into 'catalogue' mode by clicking on OVERVIEW OF GALLERY
